RESUME
Summary
Saba Rahimian is a writer, editor, and artist. She came to journalism in her late 20s after a decade in art, wellness and hospitality. As she pursued different jobs, she found a consistent variable that accompanied her through her search for a purposeful career -- a journal to document stories. Today, Saba works as an associate editor at Austin Monthly and a freelance writer. In her free time, she paints and creates mixed media fine art. She hopes to find a publication where she can settle in and grow as a journalist, contributing to her local culture alongside a collaborative team of creatives, storytellers and tastemakers.
